Diaphragm

My glass artwork Diaphragm represents the view on life and is part of the World Collection. The glass plates can be moved in the slots of the holder so that you can create “a different view” every time.

For this artwork I first made a design for each of the 11 glass plates. Then I transferred the design to the glass and carefully sandblasted it.

I cut the glass by hand, as I always do but now with great precision. So that the green appearance of the sides of the glass retains its glossy appearance. This requires good technique and precision. The glass plates can be removed from the mdf holder and cleaned.

A pedestal is also available for this work of art. This is not included in the indicated price, but you can purchase it and can only be picked up.
