Curl

The glass artwork Curl has been casted in sand and while the glass is still liquid, it has been formed by means of various kinds of pliers to form the model of the artwork. The sand at the bottom of a casted piece always creates a beautiful drawing in the glass.

Curl is part of the Earth Collection. I wanted to create a work in which the spinning of the world becomes visible. Curl represents that perfectly.
Of all my glass artworks, only 1 piece is designed and made in my own glass studio, so you are assured of a unique piece!
